A 62-year-old patient with dyslipidemia was admitted due to melena-hematochezia accompanied by syncope.
Endoscopy showed a fistulous orifice in the distal duodenum, where abundant blood was collected.
Hemodynamic instability of the patient was intervened urgently, appreciating a 5 cm tumor of extraparietal growth, which was located in the duodenal lumen.
Resection of the tumor was performed, being the histological diagnosis of GIST tumor.
