A 55-year-old woman with parietal tumor in the fourth, fifth and sixth ribs, in the anterior midline of the left hemithorax and associated lesion under the left sternum margin due to recurrence of left breast carcinoma, 5 years later.
The extension study was negative.
We performed resection of the affected ribs with a safety margin of 4 cm. We performed the parietal restitution with a Gore-tex® membrane on which two costal arches were placed.
Finally, reconstruction was performed with a contralateral pediculate rectus abdominis muscle flap.

The patient was discharged from the ICU 48 hours after surgery, with no complications.
The patient remains asymptomatic 2 years later, with no signs of disease recurrence.
