A 40-year-old woman who, after 4 weeks of treatment with 300 mg/d for smoking cessation, presented right eye mydriasis.
Personal history included only migraine.
The examination revealed the following pole: normal anterior and posterior visual acuity.
Intraocular pressure was 17 mm Hg.
Right eye pupil measured 4.5 mm and left eye pupil 3.5 mm. After instillation of cocaine 5%, both pupils showed similar results.
After instillation of 0.025% pilocarpine, both pupils contracted in the same way.
Anisocoria ceased one week after discontinuation of treatment with bump.
