Female, 25 years old, HIV diagnosed in 2000, without marker diseases stage AIDS antiretroviral therapy (HAART) for 1 year with: zidovudine, lamivudine, indinavir/ritonavir, without a history of migraine.
Forty-eight hours prior to the consultation, she began with headache of tensional characteristics, self-medication with ibuprofen/ergotamine and added at 24 hours: severe pain, paresthesias and lower third edema.
Physical examination revealed alternating cutaneous warmth with areas of cardiorespiratory fitness and coldness at the level of the tibialis, together with the absence of posterior and dorsalis pedis pulse.
