A seven-year-old male patient with non-pruriginous axillary exanthema lasting 15 days and progressive growth, with no other associated symptoms.
She suffered from axillary tick bites one month before the consultation.
The examination showed an erythematous annular lesion with irregular edges, without scaling, about 15 cm in diameter.
Suspicion of MS was initiated with oral amoxicillin (21 days). Serological studies were performed with EIA (IgG, IgM) and immunotranslated Western (IgG, IgM), which were positive.
Erythema disappears within five days of starting treatment.
