A 3-month-old girl presented at birth with erythematous area with telagiectasia occupying the right upper hemilabia.
A few days later the lesion grew a blue swelling that occupied more than the thirds of the lip and made feeding difficult.

No other abnormalities were observed in the overall assessment.
Five intralesional steroid injections, at a dose of 4 mg, with a frequency every 4 weeks, allowed fibrosis and decreased hemangioma, followed by surgical excision and lip reconstruction.
Currently the child develops normally.
