A 52-year-old man was admitted due to jaundice and abdominal pain of ten days evolution, with an analytical showing thrombopenia, elevated bilirubin and enzymes associated with stasis.
CT scan showed a 16 cm mass in the right liver lobe with multiple nodules in the left lobe and the spleen.
On the fourth day of admission he died of hypovolemic shock with an autopsy compatible with HSA with splenic metastasis.
