A 44-year-old male diagnosed with Huntington's disease, with severe cognitive impairment, neurogenic dysphagia, bronchoaspirations and malnutrition, reason why PEG is performed for home enteral nutrition.
During the procedure, due to the impossibility of obtaining a contact point between the stomach and the abdominal wall by means of transfixation and digitopressure, the patient was assisted by a gastro-enterostomy to complete the insertion procedure.
