A 27-year-old male with a history of sexual promiscuity, smoking and cocaine addiction.
He came to our consultation after presenting verrucous lesion in the penis of 7 months evolution, painless, denying urinary symptoms.
Physical examination revealed a verrucous type lesion on glans, approximately 3 cm in diameter, friable.
Biopsy of the lesion was taken and reported as condyloma acuminata.
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) detection by ELISA was negative.
Treatment was indicated by applying 5% imiquimod cream (Aldara® 3M) 3 times a week.
Upon completing one week of treatment, the patient came for evaluation, finding complete disappearance of the lesions.
