Complementary documentation released by Andy Buckley, Benjamin Fuks, Humberto Reyes-González, Walter Waltenberger and Sophie Williamson complimentary to the contribution 'Determination of Independent Signal Regions in LHC Searches for New Physics' as part of the Les Houches 2019 proceedings. Enclosed files can be used as stand-alones, but the generation of events and data manipulation needed between LesHouchesCorrelations_MassRegionByTopology.py and TACO.py is at this point left to the user. Modifications made to MadAnalysis for this project will appear publicly in versions v1.8.20 onwards of the tool.

Description of enclosed files:

- LesHouchesCorrelations_MassRegionByTopology.py: produces convex mass hulls for the topologies present in analyses existing simultaneously in the programs SModelS and MadAnalysis5.

- TACO.py: Implements the bootstrapping procedure. TACO.py is run by calling

python -f <input directory> -o <output directory> -c <Number of copies> -t <cut-off> -k <chunk size>

and requires Events.txt (can be independently produced) as input.
