This folder contains all neccessary files for the kinetic modelling section in the following thesis chapter:

"An intestinal fish cell barrier model to assess transfer of organic
 chemicals in vitro - an experimental and computational study"


1. Chemical_data_for_modelling

- folder contains 11 subfolders, one for each chemical
- each chemical folder contains a folder for cell-free and a folder for cell-containing data
- each subfolder contains excel files, with the chemical specific data presented in the potterswheel data format 
- cell-free data contain data files with and without plastic/filter measurements


2. Model_files
- to read model files matlab needs to be installed
- to run model files Potterswheel, a matlab toolbox for dynamic modelling needs to be installed
- for more information please refer to www.potterswheel.de.
- contains matlab file to run individual model files (= "final_run_sheet.m") 
- contains a text-version of the same file in case matlab is not installed yet
- further explanation about the models can be found in the run sheet
- contains folder for cell-free and cell-containing models
- cell-free models are further divided in sink and no_sink models and contain 4 models each
- cell-containing models are first divided in active and passive dosing
- each dosing system is then further divided in sink and no_sink models and contain 14 models each


3. Results 
- contains an excel file summarizing all model priors and results
- results contain: identifiability outcome, parameter optima, parameter confidence intervals, Chi-square and AIC for each model
- each chemical is presented on a seperate sheet
