New targets and procedures for validating the valence geometry of nucleic acid structures

The ‘Bonds’ and ‘Angles’ tabs (above) contain summaries of the empirical distributions observed in the PDB-NA Reference Set, along with \(Z^\prime\) thresholds shown at \(3\sigma\), \(4\sigma\), \(5\sigma\) and \(6\sigma\) for inspection.

The \(5\sigma\) thresholds are used to define the ‘Of Concern’ boundaries.
