Three-month-old boy with erythema and oedema on the right side of the face, and on the homolateral arm and hand.
He has had a lesion on the dorsum of the right hand since birth, which has intensified to coincide with the generalised reddening. It is a yellowish-brownish erythematous plaque measuring 25x18 mm in diameter, with a more indurated central area measuring 10x15 mm.

He was referred to the dermatology department for assessment of a possible mastocytoma, where the diagnosis was confirmed and conservative treatment was recommended.
